For international travellers Milan Malpensa is likely to be more practical due to more direct connections. There is a <a class=\"external-link-new-window\" title=\"Opens external link in new window\" href=\"http:\/\/malpensa-express.com\/en\/schedules.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Shuttle bus<\/a> that will take you from Milan Malpensa to Mendriso. You will need to make an online reservation for this.<\/p>\n<p class=\"bodytext\"><b>By train<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"bodytext\">Train enthusiasts may wish to fly to Zurich and get the train to Mendrisio through the <a class=\"external-link-new-window\" title=\"Opens external link in new window\" href=\"https:\/\/www.sbb.ch\/en\/group\/media\/dossier-medienschaffende\/gotthard-basistunnel.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">longest train tunnel in the world<\/a>. The station is a short (11 min) walk from the Hotel. See map below.<\/p>\n<p class=\"bodytext\"><b>By car<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"bodytext\">Mendrisio has its own motorway exit of the A2 that goes from the Italian border in Chiasso north towards the Gotthard and Zurich.
