In its 5th edition, the highly successful series of European Workshops on HPC Infrastructures will return to France, near CEA in Essonne \u2013 Paris region, on April 1 and 2, 2014<\/strong>. The aim of this series of workshops is to bring together specialists for HPC centre design and operation to discuss the latest trends and technologies for infrastructure of supercomputing centres.\u00a0\u00a0Given that the requirements for HPC\u00a0centres differ significantly from traditional data centres this workshop\u00a0provides a unique forum to exchange with other sites that have similar\u00a0requirements and challenges.\u00a0It will be followed by an internal PRACE HPC infrastructure session on April 3, 2013.<\/p>\n

This new event will again focus on a number of interesting updates from various HPC sites around Europe and beyond, Energy Efficient Computing, Infrastructure Technologies as well as some considerations about future developments in HPC.
\nThe workshop will take place at the Domaine de Fremigny<\/a>, situated in Essonne, near CEA Bruy\u00e8res-le-Ch\u00e2tel \u2013 40 km south of Paris.<\/p>\n
